Hope you are all enjoying the warmer days and looking forward to the Solar eclipse and Solar maximum that is coming up on 8th April.

April represents a time of new growth and brings with it longer days, brighter days, an abundance of beauty and a colorful display from gorgeous primrose, tulips, bright yellow dandelion flowers, pretty pink peach blossoms and more…

This spring has brought a massive burst of primroses to the herb garden! there seem to be far more splashes of yellow and pink flowers around the place compared to the last couple of springs. Primrose unlocks the spring, offering light, hope and a means to move forward after the darkness of winter. Ruled by Venus and considered female in gender, she is associated with with the element of Earth and with the spring Goddesses. Her feminine energy make primrose the ideal herb for making a gentle spirit medicine for journeying and for dream work. Primrose helps to calm incessant mental chatter, brings a feeling of deep peace and supports a secure grounding connection with the earth.

I have been consciously slowing down and taking time to appreciate and take in the wonders and inspiration that this little garden brings. This month, in honor of Earth Day, I am creating Grow Your Own Herb kits. I’m including chive, mint and coriander seeds as these are so easy to grow in a window box and thrive really well together. I plan to use the herb as gifts to attendees during my upcoming Beach event on 13th April.

Another project that I am also enjoying is my continual research of Sound frequencies and plant growth. On this project, I am working with 2 subjects, Aloe Vera and Valerian.
